This is a book of 67 poems in 146 pages, written by retired psychiatrist Dr Audrey Coatesworth. These are written for 'old folks' - her own age group.

The poems comment on many aspects of life in old age, with insight and, often, with humour.
Dr Audrey Coatesworth says:
'I have previously published poetry books for each age group except specifically for the elderly. I write from my experience of life and from the knowledge gained in thirty-five years of psychotherapeutic work.
The poems in this book may seem to many to be about 'nothing' but to others about 'everything', such can be the importance of, and the energy needed to cope with, the minutiae of every day at this time of life, particularly if illness is a problem.
I know - I am there!
I hope these poems bring comfort, encouragement, humour and a sense of 'solidarity' - we are many travelling the same river and in different but similar boats.'
